Barbara Ford is part of a new generation of holistic practitioners who look to provide healing, comfort and guidance to others without the use of harsh or invasive treatments.

She has been practicing many different types of holistic health methods for over 13 years and has studied under some of the best healers in Canada. She has training and experience with holistic healing techniques such as Reiki, Therapeutic Touch, Crystal Healing, Touch for Health, Tibetan Energy Massage, and Ear Candling.

In addition, she conducts Paranormal Investigations and House Clearings. She has been featured on 2 TV Shows (Roger’s “Arts In B-Town” and YTV’s “Ghost Trackers”) as an “expert” regarding her investigations at the Heritage Theatre in Brampton. Barbara is a general member of the Toronto Ghost and Hauntings Research Society.

While in general she practices in the GTA, she has conducted sessions as far as Virginia, Louisiana, and Thailand.

Introduction to Paranormal Investigations:
(includes handouts – could be in conjunction with Ghosts and Entities making it a 4 hour session for $60 per person)

What is the difference between a paranormal investigation and ghost hunting, what roles should each of your team members take on during an investigation, learn about basic methods for conducting an investigation, Learn how to ethically gain access to a potential investigative site, bringing integrity and professionalism to the field.


Introduction to Ghosts and Entities:
(includes handouts – could be in conjunction with Paranormal Investigations making it a 4 hour session for $60 per person)

What are the main classifications of entities and ghosts, what are the attributes and signs of each, how to conduct yourself in ethically in their presence, personal protection methods, how to help them



Intuitive Painting Series (ok to attend individually or as a series, appropriate for new and experienced artists)

Many people are intimidated by painting and feel they are not “talented” and therefore are afraid to try. This series of intuitive painting classes helps participants refocus on the creative process of painting instead of an unattainable outcome, while providing technique instructions and spiritual inspiration thus reclaiming the joy of painting.

Each session would include introductory painting techniques, followed by a guided meditation and then focused painting related to the meditation experience.  All paint materials, canvasses, and meditations will be provided.


Session 1: Releasing Fear

Understand the different use of brushes/ “releasing fear” meditation/ full colour painting – experience the flow without defined parameters.

Session 2: Painting with your Spirit Guides

Understanding shade & tint/ “meet your spirit guide meditation”/ painting with black and white – interpreting your vision

Session 3: Energy Flow

Understanding primary & secondary colours/ different breathing techniques meditations/ painting with primary colours, mixing into secondary colours based on change in body through meditation

Session 4: Chakra Cleanse

Understand point of view/ “chakra cleanse” meditation/ painting using chakra colours

Session 5: Connect to Mother Earth

Understand the difference in nature’s warm and cool colours / Grounding meditations / painting using warm or cool colours as inspired by Meditation

Session 6: Make your own Mandela (should be the last session)

Understand the basic principles of Mandela Art / Meditation with focus on a candle light / paint a personalized mandela using all colours and all techniques
